The TPandP Committee will be
reviewing abstracts and would like
to pass on this information for
potential submissions. An abstract
usually contains 150-500 words,
where the author briefly introduces
their work. The abstract is
structured in the same order as your
paper. Begin with a brief summary of
the Introduction, and then continue
on with a summary of the Method,
Results and Discussion sections of
your paper. The abstract invites the
reader to go and read the whole
paper. For a conference, the
abstract allows the scientific
committee to assess the importance,
soundness, and relevance of the idea
proposed for a presentation.
